When life crashes down around us, how hard are we willing to fight for the one thing we can’t live without, each other?

Life is full of moments. Big moments. Little moments. And none of them are inconsequential. Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything.

Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she’s worth the fight…but how do you fight for someone you know you don’t deserve?

Love is full of ups and downs. Heart stopping highs.Soul shattering lows. And none of them are insignificant. Love is a racecourse of unexpected twists and turns that must be negotiated. You have to break down walls, learn to trust, and heal from your past in order to win. But sometimes it’s the expected that’s the hardest to hold on to.

Colton has healed and completed me, stolen my heart, and made me realize our love’s not predictable nor perfect—it’s bent. And bent’s okay. But when outside factors put our relationship to the test, what lengths will I have to go to prove to him that he’s worth the fight?

Whoever said love is patient and love is kind, never met the two of us. We know our love is worth it—have acknowledged that we were meant to be—but when our pasts crash into our future, will the repercussions make us stronger or break us apart?

Our beautiful tale continues with Colton and Rylee and the true test and healing that begins….

(Spoilers may be ahead…proceed with caution or you might crash )

What a sensational book and in all honesty book three was just about PERFECTION!! This book had everything I was hoping for and more. It pretty much takes off the moment that book two ends. At the end of book two, Colton crashes and has a brain injury and is taken to the hospital. Rylee has already lost one man she loved to a car wreck and she fears that she will lose Colton. Rylee is really helpless though, she is full of fear and anger and boy watch out because we definitely see another side of her. I love how protective she is of Colton, and I adored the way that Colton’s family and his best friend are her support through this traumatizing experience while they wait in the hospital.

This is love. Me and him, making it work. One being strong when the other is weak. Thinking of the other first when they know their partner is going to feel pain.

And honestly, these moments just tore me up inside because you can see how much these two care for each other. Just when their relationship was getting back on track and moving past the drama, the worst happens. Thankfully….and I can guarantee that these two do have an HEA. They begin to start healing each other. They definitely have their ups and downs in this story. Some crazy surprises and shocks and Colton will go through an experience where he almost loses Rylee himself, and it is the change that Colton needs to really get his head out of his ass and come to terms with his past openly and honestly with the one woman he loves.

We can do this… It’s just this selfless girl and this healing boy and we can really make this work.

After this pivotal change, we see such depth in their relationship. And ALL THE FEELS…this book had them all!!! It was the fastest 14 and 1.2 hours of my life. I just couldn’t put this down, seeing the drama die down, and seeing their relationship just blossom so much in this story. We see the bond between Colton and his father and yeah the father definitely puts Colton in his place and makes him believe of his worth and boy I was a watering pot of tears I can tell ya.

I would have liked to see interaction with Colton’s mother a bit more, we didn’t really see her except for the beginning of the story. And I was so fascinated by her personality in book two. So *crossing my fingers* that book four we see her more because she appears to be so awesome. We do get some fun times with the boys home of course, and boy some suspenseful moments that I could just see coming and was curious to see how it would pan out in the end. Zander is one of the boys that just tore through my emotions. As we see his character grow more through the series and he just stole my heart!!

From beginning to end this book just did it for the little romantic in me because I tell you this was the perfect book after dealing with all the drama these two give us in the previous two books. Now there is some drama, but it’s more they are working through everything and I felt like this book just “clicked”, everything just falls into place rightly. And boy so many swoony moments, I just wanted to stay in those moments. It was quite wonderful to see the events of the plot evolve and see these two characters finally get their happy ever after that they deserve.

I love who you are and what you make me. I love that your spark has stopped the blur. That you wanted to race with me. That I don’t need the superheroes anymore because I need you instead. Shit, we’ve already done the for better or worse part and the in sickness and in health, so let’s do the Til death do us part too. Make a life with me, Ryles. Start with me. End With Me. Complete Me. Be my one and only first. Be my goddamn victory lane and my fucking checkered flag because god knows I’ll be yours if you’ll let me.

Yes I like the checkered pattern, so lovely. It really matches the theme of the hero being a race car driver too.

Yes it really was. I am not sure you would like these earlier books in the series, because books one and two were pretty angsty. But I loved them.

Yes, this one was the winner for me. I am still not a huge Colton fan (because seriously-he needed a knock upside the head!) but this book was a great read!
