He's no Prince Charming. She doesn't have a pumpkin coach. Sometimes love is nothing like a fairy tale; it's even better...
It's Never Too Late
The infamous Laura Falkner has returned to London society in disguise. Determined to clear her father's name, she becomes a companion to elderly Lady Josephine—only to learn the woman's nephew is none other than Alexander Ross, the devilish Earl of Copley, the man Laura once loved with all her heart. The same man who'd accused her father of theft and forced them to flee England.
To Fall Head Over Heels In Love
Alex has never forgotten Laura—or forgiven himself for letting her go. Today, Laura is as lovely—and stubborn—as ever, and her attempts at crime-solving are putting her in danger. The only way Alex can keep her safe is to marry her. But how can this notorious rake convince Laura that his heart is true…before the clock strikes twelve?

Laura Falkner has come to London to redeem her father’s name. Her father was wrongly accused of a crime he didn’t commit, and they were forced to flee when the man she loved betrayed them and tried to take her father. Now she has returned and in disguise, is a companion to Lady Josephine, who just happens to be the aunt of Alexander Ross. Laura knows she must do anything that she can to prove that her father is innocent, and she knows the last man she can trust is Alexander. Alex, didn’t plan on falling for Laura those years ago. When his godmother, had him play the doting suitor in order to find the truth about her father, he never though he would fall hard for her. And he hasn’t seen or heard of her since, until he sees her in his aunt’s garden. Now he will do anything to win her back, even try to prove a man’s innocence who has the evidence stacked against him.

Stroke of Midnight is the second book in this series by Olivia Drake. I love the way that this author writes her stories, and this series is based on a fairy tale theme. We have the ‘fairy godmother’, with each story, she has these red slippers and if they fit just right, then she finds them their happy ever after. This story has a unique twist on the fairy tale Cinderella. The heroine is really the major player of the story and it revolves around her. Thankfully I loved Laura as the heroine of the story. Against all odds she is trying to prove her father innocent, even against the one man she has always loved. She is strong and fierce in her determination, and doesn’t know the meaning of giving up. She will fight to the end for her father, and I loved her courage and strength of will. Alexander is quite the hero, he isn’t perfect and he admits to his mistakes, and he tries to win Laura over. I loved the way he goes about redeeming himself,

I loved how romantic this story is…full of engaging scenes, and a magical story that brings the reader into a tale of the enchantment of a fairy tale. This sensual pair will captive you!! BREATHTAKING!!
