After reading the first book not too long ago, I was thrilled to get a chance to read David and Thea’s story from Netgalley. What a wonderful story that this was!! Way too short though…but in a way that I just didn’t want it to end. I never felt like it was way too rushed or didn’t have enough substance to the story. I never felt like it was really missing something vital…I felt like it was a complete story for only being a little over 100 pages. But with Nalini Singh at the helm…there is not doubt right? I always know when I read this author, I am going to have one heck of a adventure…and its very true with this latest series she has been writing. It is highly sensually written, with such precise detail and invokes a very real and emotional response from the reader. I felt like the emotions that were portrayed through the story, just came alive and bursting from the pages.
A highly provoking story that pulled me in from the star. Unforgettable and a brilliant talent that shows on every page! Refreshing and heart wrending with each page!! SWOON WORTHY!!
