In the final instalment of Gayle Callen's exciting Spies and Lovers trilogy, a mad–dash search for truth brings together an unlikely pair – a woman accused of treason, and the man who convicted her...Now that he finally has the infamous traitor, Julia Reed, in jail, you would think English agent Samuel Sherryngton would be pleased to see justice served. But circumstances aren't always what they appear to be, and the facts aren't adding up. Soon Sam has doubts over her guilt which, of course, has nothing to do with the attraction for Julia he's been fighting against for so many years. Not willing to see her executed for a crime she may not have committed, Sam defies the laws of England and breaks Julia out of jail. What initially began as a search to find proof convicting Julia quickly turns into a quest to prove her innocence. Can this bold and dashing pair discover the truth and still find time for love?

Summary:
Julia Reed through the help of Sam Sherryngton, secret agent who assisted her in getting her arrested for something she didn’t do. But can’t even convince the one man that has meant more to her than any other. So she is shocked to find that he rescues her, and she realizes how much he still cares for her, even though it wasn’t her testimony that convinced him of her innocence. So now both of them are on the run, and decide to try to find the proof of her brother being the traitor, but framing his own sister for it. But with the danger surrounding them, there is a passion that flares between the two of them, but will they be able to give in to the love they feel for one another?

The Hero (Sam Sherrynton)
Sam is a spy, and grew up in England, and was a gardener for the Reeds, and started falling hard for Julia. So he left, so his intense fascination wouldn’t get the best of him. So its been years since he has seen his family. Now even though the evidence against Julia is astounding, he breaks her out, now that he has heard that her brother is behind it and the real traitor, and he must prove it, but in the meanwhile he breaks her out and they go into hiding, and his love for Julia comes alive once more.

The Heroine (Julia Reed)
Julia Reed has never really felt a part of anything. The only person she has ever truly loved is Sam, and he is the one that helped arrest her. Now he has rescued her from her jail cell, and taken her off until they can prove their innocence. Julia when her brother left for India, followed him there, and has always never felt good enough for him. But then she is branded a traitor, and by the one she has adored for years. Now they are in hiding, and the love she feels for him only enhances.

My Thoughts
A Woman’s Innocence is the third installment in the spy series written by Gayle Callen. I have just loved reading this series, its full of danger and intrigue and all the romance that you need. This story involves two people that up till now have never been able to pursue the feelings they both have for each other, but have never admitted it to each other. But now they are together and hiding, and have to learn to rely on each other, ant their love. This is a book that will intrigue you, and I found my self througout the whole of the book, flipping the pages as fast as I could read them, not getting enough, yet at the end fully satisfied by how it turned out. Such a enjoyable read!!! I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys historical romance, this is the book for you!!!

My Favorite Quote
“To new friendships, new families, new love” He looked at the door behind which Julia lay peacefully sleeping “And to a love that began long ago and never died”
