The Dark Protectors are Back! Vampire King Ronan Kayrs wasn’t supposed to survive the savage sacrifice he willingly endured to rid the world of the ultimate evil. He wasn’t supposed to emerge in this time and place, and he sure as hell wasn’t supposed to finally touch the woman who’s haunted his dreams for centuries. Yet here he is, in an era where vampires are hidden, the enemy has grown stronger, and his mate has no idea of the power she holds.
Dr. Faith Cooper is flummoxed by irrefutable proof that not only do vampires exist . . . they’re hot blooded, able to walk in sunlight, and shockingly sexy. Faith has always depended on science, but the restlessness she feels around this predatory male defies reason. Especially when it grows into a hunger only he can satisfy—that is if they can survive the evil hunting them both.

The DARK PROTECTORS have returned and the author brings this back with a bang. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this book and this one is so different from the previous books. Of course, I haven’t read the novella’s or anything yet, which I probably should since I did become confused a bit by this whole new type of scenario and set of characters. This setting is completely different from the previous books. So if you read from Fated to Marked….you are in one heck of a ride with this book because this book blew my expectations out of the water.

Vampire’s Faith is a story that begins with our heroine, Dr. Faith Cooper who is investigating her new patient who is in a coma. She is shocked by his health and the fact that he doesn’t fit the ‘norm’ but when he wakes up and claims that they are mates ….Faith is appalled and thinks he isn’t sane. Even though Faith feels the connection that is between them, she is a woman of science. Ronan Karys, a member of the seven and the vampire king who has been imprisoned and just forced his way to freedom. For over four hundred years, he has dreamed of Faith and now she is real in front of him. But with enemies on their footsteps, he will do everything to claim her and protect her and her sister.

Vampire’s Faith is such a vibrant story that really impacts the psyche in such a unique way. And let me warn you if you don’t like a powerful alpha male, this book is NOT for you. Especially if you haven’t read this author before, she writes some of my favorite type of alpha males. And boy he is no pansy that is for sure. I really loved how sensual this book became, Ronan is one sexy beast that is for sure and knows how to work Faith in all the right ways. She is a tough cookie, and isn’t going to just believe this ‘mating’ and causes some fun sexual tension that builds between these two. I did struggle a bit with the heroine because she takes a while before she starts giving into her emotion and I just felt like she is a bit naive at times especially at the end there. But she does learn her own way and we see her talents come shining in such a memorable way.

Overall I found Vampire’s Faith to be a stunning book that brings me back to the delightful Dark Protector’s and love this “Seven” and this story brings back sizzling chemistry and such captivating storytelling…

About Rebecca Zanetti

his theme of romance has been carried through Rebecca’s works until present time. While today’s heroine may have a medical degree, black belt in Karate and her own 401K, she’s still after that happy ending. And today’s prince may have fangs and wear a black hat, but hey, a modern princess likes a guy who bites.

Rebecca attended Pepperdine University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a Political Science emphasis. While there she worked as the Editor-in-Chief of The Graphic newspaper, a member of the Pi Phi Sorority and an intern for President Reagan, who still gave 3-5 speeches a week, even though he was no longer president.

After college, Rebecca worked as an art curator and a Senate aide before heading to law school, where she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho. She married Tony Zanetti in the middle of her second year of law school and became pregnant with their first child during the third year. She graduated law school, gave birth three weeks later, and took the Bar Exam three weeks after that. All she remembers about the bar exam is that it was so quiet in the testing room, she thought about taking a quick nap. But she continued on, passed the bar and became a lawyer. She worked for a large firm, then a small firm, then the county while also teaching legal classes at her local community college. Now she writes romances about vampires, cowboys, and soldiers.

Growing up amid the glorious backdrops and winter wonderlands of the Pacific Northwest has given Rebecca fantastic scenery and adventures to weave into her stories. She resides there with her husband, children and extended family who inspire her every day. Rebecca has completed several manuscripts, winning award throughout the writing industry for her work. She is currently writes the Dark Protector series for Kensington Publishing, the Maverick Montana series for Entangled Publishing, and the Sin Brothers series for Grand Central Publishing.
