Happenings in Week 2 of 2022
This week has been quite an interesting week. I did have to adjust back to a full work week as I have been spoiled with the paid holiday weekends. But it did seem to fly by pretty quickly. My goal of making an effort to read more has been effective, and I have been enjoying listening to audiobooks more. It’s definitely getting me happier to read more often. I was really good with my health goals and even though on Friday I did take out, it was a Mexican salad so somewhat healthier, at least it was fresh. I did get a new schedule this week which I think I will really love more. It’s earlier hours but I get off earlier which is my preference. I hate leaving work when its pitch dark and it feels like bedtime haha. . I did discover some wonderful books to read ….and made my top lists already haha So I am over the moon when I can kick off the new year like this. I hope moving forward as my goal is to be pickier with my books, that my reads will continue to be wonderful.

As an early riser, I love working an early schedule. I hope the change works well for you. This week will be my first full week back in months, but we are home. So, that softens the blow. Yeah for more reading too!
I hope you absolutely love Cold Queen. K Webster did such an excellent job with the story. Have an amazing week and I’ll see you at your next post lol ❤❤
I’m glad you were able to read more.
I like getting off earlier too! I hate driving home when it’s dark, but that’s usually how it is for me in the winter.
I got a copy of the newest Kristen Ashley. I’ll have to wait a bit to start it, though because I have some library audios I need to get through first.
I get off work earlier than I ever have at the job that I have had for the past 8 years. I would really hate to have to go back to working later. I get crabby when I don’t get enough reading time. I make sure that I have some time everyday to read even if that means some other things don’t happen. I hope that this is a great week for you!
Isn’t it tough after all the days off over the holidays are over? It’s like, wait, you expect me to work five days a week again? Seriously? LOL And hooray for starting off the year with some good reads.
What a great week you had. Next week looks good for you too with all the books you are reading. Have a good one.
I don’t like it either when I finish work and it’s dark! I hope you’ll have lots of great reads next week Renee!
Nice that you have held to your healthy eating and got in more reading. Hopefully you’ll settle back into working full weeks and enjoy the earlier shift. I was always the opposite and loved a later start even if it had me driving home in the dark because I liked getting up and getting some stuff done before I headed off to work.
Looks like a good stack of books for you this week. I recognize a few authors, but the titles are unfamiliar so I’ll enjoy seeing what you have to say about them.
Have a good week, Renee!
Sounds like a great start to 2022! I love feeling good about my choices and succeeding. It always makes me wonder what happens when I find myself self-sabotaging?
