Throwback Thursday (103)

by | Oct 19, 2017 | Book Love | 14 comments

This meme was once hosted at Buried Under Romance and Love Saves The World, and hasn’t been active for a while now. So I decided since I have a fierce love for historical romance, to start it up again. Anyone is welcome to join in if you like because I would love to see your pick of the week for a throwback historical romance that you loved!!

What is Throwback Thursday?
Traditionally, Throwback Thursday celebrates nostalgia, asking participants to post a personal photo or an image from their past — usually from 5 to 10 years ago. There are a lot of book blogs that also do a book-related Throwback Thursday.

The Historical Romance Edition:
Since Tin from Love Saves The World, Mary from Buried Under Romance, are fans of historical romance, this is a way to honor our favorite genre.

Here are our rules:
1. It must be posted on a Thursday.
2. It must be a historical romance novel published before October 3, 2008.

So, the novel I’m featuring is…

Originally published under the title Chandra, this is the stunning novel that first introduced Graelam de Moreton of Catherine Coulter’s magnificent series: Fire Song, Earth Song, and Secret Song. Completely revised, rewritten and repackaged, Warrior’s Song takes its rightful place as a prequel to the bestselling Song trilogy.

Why Warrior Song?

Catherine Coulter has done a tremendous job with her historical’s and this book just swept me away. I read it years ago, but its one of those book I would love a chance to revisit one day. It has a solid plot, endearing characters and an in depth romance that is unforgettable.

Ooooo, this is medieval historical, right? I can never resist medieval romances. I’ve not read anything by this author. Great recommendation!
