Tea and Biscuits Book Discussions: Cozy Fall Book Tag

by | Oct 18, 2021 | Tea and Biscuits Discussions | 5 comments

Tea and Biscuits Book Discussions is a feature here on Addicted To Romance where there is talk of books, blogging, and reading topics….so come on in and join in on the discussion

I found this tag at A Court of Coffee and Books and thought it would be great do especially for this time of year as we are all looking for more of these cozy autumn-like reads.

Crunching Leaves: The world is full of color! Choose a book with red/orange/yellow on the cover.

I find that this is the perfect reading for this time of year, it has a mix of cozy and spooky. I really love this series and this whole world that this author creates.

Cozy Sweater: It’s finally cool enough for warm, cozy clothing! What book gives you the warm fuzzies?

Despite my issues with this book, it has so many COZY vibes to it, set in the mountains and it really fits this perfectly.

Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose a book that you like to read on a stormy day.

This is the perfect read on a rainy day, it just delivers on all the vibes and is such a comfort to read.

Cool Crisp Air: Makes you breathe freely. Who’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?

I love this heroine here and I could totally switch places with her. She has the coolest powers but has such an intuitive gentle soul. She can fight and protect and kick ass but also has vulnerabilities and craves love and family.

Hot Apple Cider: Warm autumnal drink. What underhyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

I think this series is so underrated, granted, it’s indie so it’s probably less known, but I definitely think more people need this series in their lives.

Coat, Scarves, & Mittens: The weather has turned cold & it’s time to cover up! What’s a book cover you don’t like?

I don’t like this style of covers for indie sci fi romance, they can really cringe. I guess I like the more classic like sci fi romance covers more .

Pumpkin Spice: Time for some Starbucks! What’s your favorite fall comfort food?

My comfort food is the Pumpkin Smash smoothie from Jamba Juice. I just love it so much. It’s so so good. I also love those caramel-covered apples–there is a chocolate shop here locally that does different chocolate creations with these apples and it’s so decadent but perfect for the season.

Warm, cozy bonfire: Spread the cozy warmth! Who do you tag?

Anyone that likes the autumn/fall season

How have I not read any of these authors! Glad that even though you had issues with Chasing Serenity, you were able to still get the cozies from it.

I have to agree with you about most alien sci-fi romances. cringes Remember Gini Koch’s series? Those were great covers.
