Tea and Biscuits Book Discussions: Autumn Favorite Reads

by | Nov 12, 2018 | Tea and Biscuits Discussions | 0 comments

Welcome to the feature “Tea and Biscuits Book Discussions” where every monday we get together to talk about issues in the bookish community and our love of books and romance.…

Today I want to discuss our favorites in our autumn reading!! This season I have discovered some wonderful books and have had a blast with so many of them. I love the season of Autumn and some of the best books come out this time of year.

This is one of my more recent fall listens and it was so sexy and romantic!! I loved the setting, a sexy resturaunt owner and musician meet up and sparks fly. This was a beautiful romance and I loved seeing these two overcome some painful pasts together.

This is part of a four book series that features one main couple Harper and Knox…they would be my favorite couple of the YEAR!! This group of books were so compelling and magnetic and utterly addicting. I just read one book after the other because I couldn’t help myself.

This series has been so much fun….but Brooklynaire would be my favorite book of the series. I love seeing the hero a nerdy billionaire who has a heart of gold and a heroine that has been by his side every step of the way and seeing them discover more than just friendship was eye opening and endearing.

I read this book as a re read and I haven’t read this book in years. I just love this one so much, one of my favorite Christine Feehan books and so endearing. I would say its one of the more easier books to read from Feehan as far as her alpha males go. The hero is so sweet and supportive of the heroine, he acts more like a partner than some overbearing ass hehe But I love the intrigue and mystery and suspense that comes into play with this one here.  It was supposed to be a buddy read, but if something doesn’t happen then I do it anyway so I don’t miss out on what I love doing.

This is one of the best books I have had the pleasure of reading from Mary Wine. The feeling in this book was simply unique and reminded me of the old days at times. It had wit and charm and adventure!! What more do you need?

This is an old school romance and boy was it really GOOD!! I had a blast with this one here. It delivered on all the feels, historical authenticity and some sensuality that is unforgettable.

I LOVED this book I once tried out a Karina Halle but I think that one was way too dark for me at the time (this was before I enjoyed dark romance) but I picked this one up because of all the great reviews and boy it was well worth the read. I love the nanny set ups and this one was awesome!! So funny and charming.

This was my first try on Talia Hibbert for our Discord club book read and man it was so wonderful!! I loved this romance so much and the characters I felt I could relate to so well. Plus I love contemporary UK settings which aren’t that common anymore.

This series so FAR as been so superb. Now it starts only as an audible only book and then six months later it becomes available in other formats. So this book was simply fantastic and I can’t wait to own it in print. This is the second book in the Mystic Bayou series, I love a New Orleans area setting especially in the Bayou and its perfect for paranormal romances for sure. This brings bear shift romances to a whole new level!!

I haven’t read too many dystopian romances but I fell in love with this book here. It was really fantastic and Zanetti definitely knows how to write her alpha males and feisty heroines. The world building was great and I can’t wait to see how the series develops.

This is my first time reading Regan Walker, but I have been following this author for quite some time. She reads a LOT of historical romance and has become a talented author in her own right. I really loved the way this book was written, in medieval england and a well written dynamics ….had a fun time with this one.

I dont read too many teacher characters in romance (they aren’t that common) but boy Emma Chase did a great job with this book. One I don’t know how you can resist such a sexy cover but there is also the charming love story. Both characters are teachers in high school education and boy did she get those high school students as terrors so RIGHT!! This definitely gives the reader much more admiration and respect for teachers. And plus its a second chance romance so *thumbs up*
