So this week was a good week for the most part. I was able to see my team in football have such a good couple of weeks. They are now #15 and I am so happy about that. although have Saturday night it’s probably lower on the list. Especially since the last few years, they have really been struggling but with them joining the Big 10 in a couple of years, things are looking up for my team. Some of my reading plans from last week got put on hold because I might have received some ARC’s that I was highly anticipating. The type of books I wasn’t sure I would get but Forever and Berkley treated me so good this past week so I just read those so quickly haha. I know I should have more self control than that, but I just couldn’t resist the temptation. My health concerns with my blood pressure haven’t changed though. I did see a doctor and they have me on meds but I haven’t noticed a change, so still feeling horrible and hope that changes soon.

I was going to start this early last week, but then I got those ARC’s so I decided to put it on hold. But I do love how this author writes historical romances though.
Currently Listening
I am working on getting caught up on this series so that I can start from the “Icehome” series.

Lusting For Covers
I just adore this cover, Avon has done such a good job with this authors books. I love the sun shining behind them and the wood base swing.
Stepback Sunday
I simply love this stepback, its from “Sheik” by Connie Mason, and I love the jewelry they are both being adorned with and the pillows they are snuggling on.
It’s always fun to see your team winning. I hope the meds start making a difference soon. I love when some unexpected approvals come in. I know I shouldn’t, but I feel validated as a blogger. Enjoy all the new additions!
It’s always great to get an arc that you’re so excited for that it makes you want to drop everything else. 🙂 Hopefully the meds will start making a difference soon and you’ll start feeling better. Hope you have a great week!
Sorry your BP is still not great. That is tough! Enjoy your new reads!
Oh no, hope the blood pressure situation gets better soon! That can be very stressful when you’re not sure what’s going on. I hope they can make adjustments or provide some good guidance or whatever. !
Yay for some good ARC’s though. 🙂 Hope they’re all good reads…
Be well this week and take care of yourself!
I truly hope they’ll find the right medication for you and that you’ll feel better soon Renee!
Sorry to hear that the BP is still high but glad you were able to get in to a doc about that. Fun that your football team is keeping you excited. I’m still in baseball playoffs mode and watching the high school soccer matches that play across the road from our house.
Haha, I struggle not to save some much anticipated arcs for closer to their release date, too. Sometimes I give in because I know I won’t be able to concentrate on other books until those are read. Enjoy!
Have a good week, Renee!
I read Dark Tarot and Annihilation Road and they were both good. I love Christine Feehan’s books so much.
I hope the blood pressure problems get better.
I’ve never been into football but my daughter is.
I hope the meds make you feel better and control your BP. My hubby just got on meds for his BP, too. We’re watching our food and exercising more to help as well.
I hope you love the new ARC you’ve dived into. I’m wondering which book made you set everything else aside so you could read it. That Lynsey Sands book looks good!
Hope you start feeling better soon! Enjoy your books and have a great week!
I’m sorry you’re not feeling 100% I hope that changes soon. You’ve got so many coming up. I can’t wait to read the Sands but I’m waiting a bit for that one.
