News
This week has been interesting, still on the lookout for job hunting, but I have some interviews this week. I am not too worried about jobs though, I have two more weeks of PTO coming, but I hate being at home not working, I am going stir crazy. haha But hopefully I can find something good soon.
Reading has been really great this week, really devouring audiobooks this past week. With all the job hunting, I am breezing through them right now. And I am almost finished with getting caught up on all my backlogged books to be reviewed on Netgalley.

Currently Reading
This is one of the few that are left for my backlisted books to review for Netgalley. And lucky enough I found it at my local library. And I do like these inked contemporary romance themes. And I have heard some good things about this author I am intrigued by.
Currently Listening
Highland Gladiator is a book I have been needing to read so badly, but when I saw that Brad Wills narrates this one (he is one of my favorites to listen to for historical audiobooks) I knew I wanted to listen to it.

This cover is gorgeous…..it just has such a magical look to it. And its a tinker bell romance. So I am all for it.
Stepback Sunday
I have really been feeling the paranormal vibe lately, its good to see them preparing me fall like feels.
You’ve had a busy week on the blog. Good luck with the job hunt.
Thank you so much Ann! Thanks for stopping by.
That’s great that you have a little cushion while you job hunt. Good luck with your interviews and your search! I am so scared to read the Hoang book. The reviews are all over the place, but maybe it will be ok for me, since I have set expectations for the type of story it is. Maybe. Hope you enjoy it
Thank you Sam. I am so scared to read that Hoang book too, its why I keep putting it off and I have seen the mixed reviews so I am so nervous but I need to read it over the next couple of days if I can get the time in for it. haha
Good luck with the job search! At least you’re getting through some books! ๐
Love the Stepback cover.
Thank you Greg. I appreciate that. And I like that stepback too. I love these paranormal stepbacks these books used to have.
Wow it seems that indeed job hunting is good for reading! ๐ But I do hope you find a good job soon because I’d hate being inactive too ๐
Yes it actually has been doubly productive in that respect haha I am going stir crazy to be honest. While its nice to have more relaxing days, I would prefer to have a job to go to every day.
Good luck with the job hunt!! I’m off to check out your review of Bombshell. I’m very curious!!!
Thank you. I hope to find something soon.
Good luck with the job hunting.
Good luck in the job search! I have The Heart Principle coming next too. Hope we both love it!
Good luck on the interviews this week, Renee! You’re really cranking out those backlog book reviews – go you! I hope Highland Gladiator ends up being a hit for you. It’s always extra special when a favorite narrator is involved.
Big well wishes as you hit those interviews, Renee. Woohoo on knocking out so many backlisted reviews. I enjoyed Highland Gladiator and hope you do as well.
Have a good week!
I hope you find something you totally enjoy before your PTO ends. Enjoy your books in the meantime.
Yes thank you Kimberly. I hope so too, its nice to have a cushion.
