So this past week in the world has been crazy sauce and to be honest I am just focusing on my happy place which is books and blogging, they have brought such comfort to me this past week and has provided the best distraction from all the hate and violence. So my focus on being distracted has WORKED. I had a great week despite the world and national news. My dad had surgery and is on the road to healing and my heart is so relieved. Then my week of reading has been fabulous, I am tracking my reading through a spreadsheet, I had a most difficult time choosing the best spreadsheet to use since there are SO many out there, but I decided on the Spreadsheet by Brock Roberts, which if you want to use it, here is the link for it —BROCK READER TRACKER

I am doing pretty good with my tracking and my goals for the year, even though we had more people quit at work so I am working like crazy sauce, I am still making an effort to read as much as I can and the more I make an effort, the more I want to read. Letting go of watching TV and many podcasts has been very rewarding for me. I am planning on participating in the Historical Romance Read A Thon starting this weekend and I am excited. Are any of you participating? What books are you eager to pick up for it? And I had my first five star read of the year and it was fantastic, definitely going to be a top read —Wolfsong by T.J. Klune was FANTASTIC!!! I loved it so much.

I was nervous at first when I picked up this series because of the mixed reviews but boy I am HOOKED!! I can’t stop reading these books and can’t wait to finish. I predict I will be reading the whole series today.

I just started this one, but I am really into it, lots of intrigue and mystery and I am eager to see where Hoyt takes this book and the series.
