News

This week was exhausting….basically, my landlord wanted me to move two weeks earlier than planned on and he gave me TWO days. LOL So this whole week has been about moving, cleaning, and getting settled in. I just feel so drained so my reading of what I planned on got put on hold for a bit….life happens 🙂 There was a heartbreaking story that literally broke my heart of a five year old boy murdered in front of his sisters –just wished his story would get the attention of the media more. Heck my local news station covered it way more than any national news station has this week. Probably one of the most horrifying news stories. Hope this boys murderer gets justice the way he should and deserves for such an evil action. –end of rant LOL But happy news my family is out of quarantine after my brother got covid. He is recovered fully, and my parents have a clean bill of health. So spent the weekend with them. They are happy to be free as jail birds lol  we did watch two great movies “I Can Only Imagine” and “Forever My Love” and I want both on Blu Ray. They were amazing. I Can Only Imagine is based on a true story and as a Christian it just struck so deeply for me. One of my favorite songs and seeing the deeper story to it and how it came about. I dare you NOT to cry watching this moment—-simply beautiful and epic.

ARC Review-Immortal Angel by Lynsay Sands

Currently Reading

I am almost half way through this, I just keep getting drawn more into this series. And these are a bit out of my comfort zone in that the romance is not prominent but still has a great romance between Roarke and Eve. And love the crime mysteries here. Its feeding my “sherlock holmes” spirit. 🙂

Up Next Reading

Very excited to get into all of these, and a few of them are for my Romance-opoly challenge which I have been neglecting but working on reading more of it. Since I have so many good books lines up for it.

New Additions at Addicted To Romance

Two of these especially are ARC’s that I am especially super excited for. These two books are at the top of my most anticipated reads for the year and I need something to lift me up.

Lusting For Covers

There is something so unique about these covers, I love the dress and era style, the mystery and intrigue feels and how polished and sensual it is.

Stepback Cover Feature

There is something about “against the wall” stepback moments that are so swoon worthy.
