This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I don’t know if it will be a weekly feature but I might just make it one if it’s popular enough! So let me know if you love this feature. The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type.
Today, the feature will be for cinnamon roll heroes. this has become a more popular character type in recent years and I have started to watch for it. So what is a cinnamon roll character? This is a gender-neutral type but you tend to see it more common in heroes than heroines. But you can sometimes find it in heroines, but it’s much more common to look for it in a hero. So a cinnamon roll is a kind, sweet, gooey on the inside and a bit crusty on the outside. It can be a contract to a alpha hero, but there are alpha cinnamon roll’s as well.
I absolutely adored this one. This hero is all in for the hero, the way he pines for her, and is so devoted to her and he does it for YEARS. So what more could you need from a sweet gooey hero.
The hero is such a sweet caregiver, he is so watchful and attentive to the heroine. He accepts her as she is in all of her “moods” and handles her in a way that is encouraging and healthy.
This is evidence of two alpha cinnamon rolls that are such the perfect pairing. Both the hero and the heroine are alpha’s but also cinnamon roll’s. They are so devoted to each other and care about taking care of one each other in a balanced way.
Dallas is such a gooey hero. He has such a crusty exterior, but he also is all in for the heroine. He will literally do anything for Delia, just to have her smile at him.
Oh this hero was so darling. He is ALL in for the heroine, the way that he protects her, feeds her, wants to make her happy was so endearing.
This hero is all in, and is more of a alpha cinnamon roll.. The way that he commits to the heroine, stands by her and supports in and is so protective and caring makes him “chefs kiss”
Brishen just has a heart of gold despite his other family members. He has honor and integrity, and he would sacrifice anything for the heroine.
I love how accountable this hero is. The manner in which he encourages the heroine to be herself, he protects her and will do anything to make sure she is safe and happy.
So tell me what do you love the most about Cinnamon Roll Heroes? Have you read any from my list here? What are some of your top favorites? Let me know in the comments below!
Nate was such a favorite. He was sweet to Becca (and smart, sexy, and rich too — doesn’t seem fair)
I love this list! Thanks for all of the recommendations 🙂
I like your recommendation post idea. Its always nice to know what other books are good and fall in certain categories. I think of beta heroes when you described cinnamon roll. I do like a sweet person who isn’t spineless. You remind me that I still want to read Annie’s Song.
Ooo! Brooklynaire! Such a great book. He really was a great cinnamon roll.
