Reading Challenges of 2022 I am Thrilled For

by | Jan 10, 2022 | Reading Challenges | 8 comments

Its been a couple of years since I participated in any reading challenges, although in 2021 I was able to participate in some readathon via Instagram. However, I haven’t actually done any reading challenge in quite a long while. The past couple of years of reading hasn’t been the best as you know we have had a pandemic and life has just gone so crazy due to it all. However, for some reason, I feel hopeful for this year. But this is a fresh year, I am so thrilled to be able to participate in some reading challenges and see what I can accomplish. I just have a handful here that I am participating in.

Reading Challenges That I Am Participating IN

FairyTale Reading Challenge– I do have a weakness for fairytale retellings and there have been quite a few I have been wanting to get to. And they have such fun prompts for each month.

Coyer Reading Challenge– I just adore seeing so many bloggers participate in this challenge, And I am always so late to the game. But I am planning on participating in this one there. I am not sure when exactly I will be participating, probably spring or summer but definitely will be doing this.

Audiobook Reading Challenge-I am a big audiobook fan lover and I just love how Kimberly has handled these. I will be doing the Marathoner Level.

Shelby Taggert Reads Seasonal Reading Challenges–This reading challenge is on Instagram. And I just love how she does these. I like how adaptable that these are. And they are seasonal-themed and have so many fun prompts.

How Am I Tracking The Challenges?

So for this year I am tracking it through my reading tracking spreadsheet. It just makes it so much easier to track everything I need to in one place.

So tell me are you participating in any reading challenges this year? Which ones are they? What do you love/hate about reading challenges?

I do one for my Book Club Thursday post. The challenges are pretty easy. Each month I pick one to do. Good luck with yours.

Good luck on all your reading challenges! I never do any beyond the usual Goodreads challenge. I’m too much of a mood reader and just want to read what I want, when I want, without having to fulfill any challenge. ๐Ÿ™‚ But I’m in the minority there since most of my blogging friends always take part in multiple challenges. ๐Ÿ™‚

I tried to do the Fairytale challenge a few years ago, but there are not a ton of contemporary fairytale retellings. They tend to be fantasy, you know? Good luck with all these challenges. I hope you have a lot of fun doing them

And now I want to do a challenge (or two lol). It’s been a couple of years since I’ve participated in one. Covid sucked the fun out of everything ๐Ÿ™ But maybe doing at least one challenge will bring the fun back, at least a little. That fairy tale one seems up my alley because I LOVE retellings!

I wish you the best of luck and loads of fun doing these!! xo

COYER is one of my favorite reading challenges. A fun way to meet fellow bloggers and readers. So many ways in which to participate.

Oh… I like the idea of tracking all of your books in one spreadsheet (I LOVE spreadsheets). Currently, I have my lists in multiple spots. I think I’m going to go create a spreadsheet now! Thanks for the idea!!
