About The Book

Don’t miss the final exciting and romantic chapter in Devlin and Ellie’s love story.

He’ll keep her safe, no matter the price.

Investigative reporter Ellie Holmes has uncovered billionaire Devlin Saint’s dark and dangerous secrets, and he has both stripped away her protective armor and tamed the wildness within her. Bound by a shared past and the hope of a blissful future, they grow even closer, each exposing more of themselves as their love deepens.

But now that Devlin’s true identity has been publicly revealed, old enemies appear, intent on destroying Devlin. And while he vows to enlist all of his resources to protect her, Ellie soon realizes that the only way to save them both is to take the last, final step to fully join Devlin in the dark.

My Review

My Cruel Salvation is a novel that I have been waiting on and I am not sure why I didn’t immediately jump on this, and now that I have finished the trilogy, I do wish that I had waited until all three books had been released to read them together because even though there is a HEA at the end of each book in the trilogy, its highly connected with one couple and there were many details that would have remained clearer if I had decided to read these all together. However, despite some confusion at times (which I blame myself as it’s my fault for not having more patience with these books) I truly had so much fun with this one here. My Cruel Salvation continues that epic love story of Devlin and Ellie and there are some hurdles that they will both need to climb and overcome but it won’t be easy for either of them. The past has come to fruition for them and Ellie will have to learn to adapt to the new changing circumstances and accept what being part of Devlin’s world truly means. We get to see more of the past of Devlin (it does contain flashbacks so if you are nitpicky about those, forewarning on that) also I found such beauty in getting the finale told between Devlin and Ellie. I just have adored this couple so much and one of my favorites that this author has written that I have been able to read so far. Her writing is definitely the type I love to see in a solid contemporary romance. It is more edgier than most contemporary and is borderline dark, but I definitely wouldn’t put it in the dark romance category. Overall I found Cruel Salvation to be a heartachingly sweet romance that I couldn’t get enough of. I guarantee that it will give you all the romantic feels and bring a satisfying ending to a great epic love story.

Some series are easy to take breaks between the books, but it’s hard to tell the difference when its not. Glad it was all you were hoping for, Renee!

Lovely review! I was so hoping the final book would be a satisfying closure to this series because, like you, I’ve completely fallen for this couple. Happy to see it was a winner! Can’t wait to see how it all wraps up for them…
