He opened his mouth to order her to drop the MP5 she had aimed at him, but nothing would come out. It was like she’d robbed him of the ability to speak. Shooting her wasn’t an option, though. And the idea of arresting her didn’t make him feel any better.
There's a new gang of criminals in town who are organized and ruthless in the extreme. When Eric Becker, along with the rest of the Dallas SWAT team, ends up in the middle of a shootout, he immediately senses werewolves-a lot of them. Turns out, the new bad guys are a pack of wolf shifters.
In a spray of gunfire, Becker comes face-to-face with the most gorgeous woman he's ever seen. Becker does the logical thing. He hides her and leaves the scene with the rest of his team.
Jayna Winston has no idea why that SWAT guy helped her, but she's glad he did. Ever since she and her pack mates got mixed up with those Eastern European mobsters, everything had pretty much fallen apart.
So what's a street-savvy thief like Jayna going to do with a hot alpha-male wolf who's a police officer?

In the Company of Wolves swept me away instantly. I don’t think I have read a book so quickly. Within a hour and half I had finished with this one. That is a new record for me…and it was one that I wasn’t even trying for. Paige Tyler does this for me, its one of the reasons I love her books so much is her writing. Paige Tyler is one of those authors, that captivates the reader instantly and you CANT put it down…no matter how hard you try. I just couldn’t contain my excitement in reading this one. This is a bit of a forbidden romance….or more like both characters will have to fight with violence before they can find their HEA. The heroine left her parents home (who were definitely nuts), and she was rescued on the streets by a werewolf pack that showed her how to control her recent changes. But then her alpha drags her and her other pack mates into trouble with a crime lord. Then she is rescued by Eric.
What is most unique about this story, is seeing these two come together. They both have instant chemistry, but their worlds are complete opposites, but Eric knows that she is the “One” and he is willing to do what it takes to make sure they all come out of this alive. The romance is sweet but passionate. Their relationship is strong and beautiful and quite exciting to see develop. I really had issues with the alpha of Jayna’s pack. He was one evil piece of work. Only cared about himself, and was always putting his pack in danger (which is the last thing you should do as a alpha). But it was a bit heartbreaking for the pack members though. Because they truly were close, very close to each other, and seeing what their alpha was doing to them….was tearing them apart emotionally. This story was entertaining, sexy, and thrilling!!! Kept me on my toes constantly. AN EXHILIARING RIDE!!
Oh yes. I loved this one. It really was an interesting set up for the two. So glad you loved them too!
This sounds so freaking awesome. I love the title! Makes me all tingly.
I HAVE THIS!! YAY!! Yes, I’m screaming… sorry 🙁 I’m so glad it’s good, though! I can’t wait to get to it and see who fast I read it!!!!
BTW – love the Christmas!! Oh, and you got a Spotify widget – YAY!!! I keep meaning to put one up on my blog of the songs I’m currently listening to. I’m so afraid it’s going to slow my load time. But I saw no problems with your page! 🙂
I’m all excited about Christmas now…
Same here! So exhilarating. I just read this one today so I was happy that I could finally read what everyone else thought. I love that tension from the beginning of them being from seeming incompatible sides of the issue.
glad this one rocked your world, i still need to try and finish book 1
It’s one of these authors I keep seeing everywhere but haven’t read just yet. I’ve got several of her books on my to-read “Mount Everest” pile though, so I should finally come around 😉
