About The Book
From the international bestselling author of The Simple Wild comes Forever Wild, a novella that continues the story of Calla’s journey to the Alaskan wild and a life she never imagined for herself.
The holiday season is upon Calla and Jonah, and with the mistletoe and gingerbread comes plenty of family drama. Jonah is bracing himself for two weeks with a stepfather he loathes, and while Calla is looking forward to her mother and Simon’s arrival, she dreads the continued pressure to set a date for their wedding…in Toronto.
Add in one bullheaded neighbor’s unintentional meddling and another cantankerous neighbor’s own family strife, and Christmas in Trapper’s Crossing will be anything but simple.
My Review
Forever Wild is the novella that features our star couple Calla and Jonah. This is a short read that can easily be read in one sitting. This is where we get a beautiful intro into them continuing into their lives and embracing their HEA. They are going into December and getting ready for a Christmas celebration, Jonah’s parents are coming to town, and sparks fly between the families and neighbors. We see our pair celebrate their wedding and even more. I absolutely LOVED this short and sweet novella. This is pure joy in this book and I indulged very easily. I was more than thrilled to see this holiday novella and how endearing it is. Calla and Jonah are just perfect in this book, they have worked through most of the kinks in their relationship and we just see a solid celebration with them and the people they love the most. And I never mind reading Christmas books in the spring or summer, there is something about them just brings a charm to the season we are currently in. If you have loved the first two books, this novella will be the ticket for you. I can’t wait for the fourth book where we get Marie’s story. Overall I found Forever Wild to be a superb finale into this couple who have won my heart with their sizzling chemistry, enduring strength, and continuous growth. SIMPLY CHARMING!

Steam Level
Simmering—soft warm touches and light intimacy
Warm- a medium level of sexual tension, a balance of sexual and emotional intimacy, lighter on the details in the sexual moments.
Steamin’ up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes.
Blazing fire to the building-The prime focus is the sex scenes, scorching hot, and could burn one. Less focus on the emotional intimacy to the relationship.

This book really brought their story to a great “end”. I loved it. Great review!
I struggled a bit with the second book, but this one was all smiles. It was great to be able to really get that closure for this couple.
I’ve yet to read anything by K. A. Tucker but she’s on my list!
