Criminals Of The Ocean

In Criminals of the Ocean, we have a duo of books, that deals with pirates and criminals of the sea in the modern era. Bella Jewel writes gritty romances and these are superb and her best work. Both books are connected to each other, and should be read in order.

Why I Recommend-

I was very captivated by these two books!!! I love pirate themes in romances, but boy does Bella Jewel give us something very different. I loved having it in a modern setting. We see the blurred lines of black, white and grey. These are gritty romances, highly sensual and I definitely recommend them to those that like these themes.

This certain captain, Drew Anderson spurned her in society. And she wants a little payback.

Captive Of My Desires

Why I Recommend-

This is such a delightful story and I loved every moment while reading it. Johanna Lindsey writes a fantastic pirate romance and in this one we see these two main characters go at it with each other and end up falling for each other along their adventure on the sea.

Destiny's Captive

Of Noble Birth

Of Noble Birth takes us on a journey and adventure involving kidnapping, mistaken identity and revenge and a bit of passion and finding love when you least expect it.

Of Noble Birth

Why I Recommend-

This was such a fun romance and the first I had read from this author. As far as I know her only historical romance. But whohee what a ride she takes us on. One of the best pirate themed romances I have ever read. Definitely highly recommend this one especially if you are a fan of Brenda Novak.

A Pirate’s Love

This story is set in the 17th Century, and is a swashbuckling, pirate bodice ripper of a romance!!

A Pirate's Love

Why I Recommend-

This is not a romance for everyone….its one of Johanna Lindsey’s classic bodice ripper romances. It involves kidnapping, seduction and some sexy alpha male attitude. This is so fantastic and if you like older romances….pick this one up.

The Princess and Her Pirate

Princess Tatiana is looking for a husband to help stabalize her country. While on the lookout she finds the MacTavish Pirate Lord. But he assumes that she is a thief and doesn’t believe in her outrageous story. Cairn is willing to seduce his captive to learn the real truth behind her lies.

The Princess and Her Pirate

Why I Recommend-

This is a story that I read ages ago, when I first discovered romance novels but what a story. Greiman is such a talented author, and boy the chemistry that builds between these two. I love the whole “mistaken identity” trope and the setting and the rich historical context is very vividly pictured.

The Windflower

In The Windflower we have a young woman about to go to England with her Aunt, she is kidnapped under a mistake and taken to a infamous privateer. She spends months on his ship, with his crew members and discovering a powerful love.

The Windflower

Why I Recommend-

This is a superb read, poignant and well written. This is a classic romance written years ago, but is a story I would recommend to any romance lover!! Its a slow moving romance, it slowly builds with each chapter, and this pair gets tested in the worst ways but in the end they find their HEA.
