It has taken a while to get used to this new public system in Dallas which is VERY different from what I am used to but am adjusting to it….I still miss my old library since it had fabulous selection in one place. But I decided to go see what my closest branch had and in my mind I only had two books I wanted to get but ended with six.
Christmas In Mustang Creek
OOHH….can I say how excited I am to pick this one up. First I have been eager to pick up some Christmas romances and I LOVE Miller and she writes so many great Christmas themed romances. And it has been a while since I have picked her up!!!
Magic Rises
I was in the mood for a re read of this one. I don’t know why, but the newest release isn’t available through the library yet, and I just had a craving for some Kate and Curran. Its still my favorite book of the series. Bring on the drama and fun dialogue.
A Wallflower Christmas
I have no idea why I don’t own this one yet, since I read it more times than I can count. I love these four ladies and their men and its fantastic to see them come together for Christmas.
Let Me Be The One
I blame Quinn from Quinn’s Book Nook for getting me eager to try this author. So when I saw the first book at the library, I snatched it up. Plus the blurb sounds very intriguing.
Kissing With Fangs
Now this is a series I have SO been wanting to try so badly. I do love a good forbidden romance trope with some danger and PNR thrown in.
Forbidden
I LOVE this author, but haven’t picked this one up yet. She writes the best diverse historical romances I have ever picked up so I can never NOT pick up one of her books.
Ohhh some pretty cozy reads! Perfect for the season. π Happy reading!
Yay for winding up with five π Hope you get used to having split branches soon, don’t forget to try out their overdrive if they use it! That’s how I get most of my audiobooks/ebooks.
haha yeah I am slowly getting used to it. I have tried their overdrive and really liking the selection. But there is something about printed books I just can’t get enough of too. π
Have to agree with you on that! π
Ohh awesome loot
Each time I’ve moved, I hate that period of adjustment to a new library’s way of doing things. Glad you found some goodies there. I’ve got that Beverly Jenkins on my to read list, and there are three others that I enjoyed, too. I still need to try Bella Andre’s books.
What a nice looking bunch of books! π I love Lisa Kleypas so I’m borrowing a friend’s copy of A Wallflower Christmas soon. And I’m a big fan of Bella Andre’s work. She reminds me of Jennifer Probst or Carly Phillips. Have fun reading!
I’m so excited that you have a Bella Andre. I really like that one. My favorite of the whole series so far is I Love How You Love Me. I hope you like this series, Renee.
So many great books! I need to catch up with Kate Daniels. Also, yay I adored A Wallflower Christmas too. It was a lovely short story! π
Oh man they ALL look so good! I have a couple of those on my eventual tbr pile. Hope you have fun with them!
