I got quite a bit of loot today…although I had to trudge through half a foot of snow to get to my library….but these finds were so worth it!!!
I was so pleased to see that this one was available at my local library and in HARDCOVER!! I never get to read in hardcover, so its always a delight to find it available!! I love the cover…perfect for this time of year and I can’t wait for more CURRAN and Kate!!!! Love this pair.
oh I am so excited for this book, especially since the previous book left this heroine with a bit of a teaser, so I can’t wait to read this one!! And this author is so wonderful with her writing.
This book wasn’t on my list. But as I was looking through the shelves, this book popped out to me, and I have been looking for some more PNR’s to read and try out new authors. Have you read Keri Arthur before?
Oh I am so excited for this. This is an author I have been wanting to read more from, and isn’t this cover GORGEOUS!!! I love it. And I never can resist those men in kilts….I don’t think I have even read the blurb yet….simply cover love!! Have you ever picked up a book just for the cover alone?
I have ย been meaning to try this series out for the longest time, and I finally found it in my library, so I have picked up the first book!! AAAHHH!! I can’t wait for this one. I have never read a romance set in this time period and so EXCITED!!
I had borrowed this one from the library previously, but was unable to get to it, so hopefully this time I will be able to. But since I am focusing on reading more library books and no longer purchasing books. And I can never get enough of Nalini Singh.
I am so excited to be re reading this trilogy once again. I love Alaric and Rionna, and I am super stoked to get in touch with this couple once again. Have you read Maya Banks Historical’s?
I really liked the first book, and was waiting for this one to become available so I can’t wait to delve intoย it!! And what a sexy cover right?
Oh I can’t wait for this anthology. I have read one of the novella’s Declaration of Courtshipย (which was AMAZING) I might even re read it here. hehe But I haven’t read the other two yet, so I am really looking forward to it.
I have heard some fantastic things about this author, and I have finally become convinced I have to try her out. So here it goes…hope I enjoy her.
I really have adored this author, and the first book of the series was so charming, so I am looking forward to this one!! Love the purple.
YIPPEE!!! Can I say I am so excited to get back in touch with Jack Dodger again!! Man he is one sexy beast and one of the best heroes I have ever read in historical romance. A Fabulous book boyfriend.
This is Fannie’s story, and I love her. She has spunk and Lorraine Heath writes her characters so well.
This is a new author for me, but I have heard some fantastic things about her and I love those sexy firefighters, plus a forbidden romance====totally excited to read this one. And look at that cover….who can resist!!
That’s a really awesome loot! I love Nalini Singh’s stuff!
I haven’t gotten around to reading Bitter Spirits yet, but I think I have that one laying around somewhere.
I hope you love Bitter Spirits, I enjoyed that series!
Wow! You did wonderfully at the library. Yay for the Ilona Andrews hardcover. You must have a wonderful library to walk in and be able to find all of these books. I have a great library but a lot of times I have to request items from another branch. Enjoy!
Sooooo much stuff! Lots of them look very good! The only one I’ve read is Bitter Spirits and it didn’t click for me. I love that time period and San Francisco, but it just didn’t meet my expectations.
You grabbed several that I adore and now I want your thoughts on them. I liked the Erin Knightley, Jenn Bennett series, Lara Adrian, Ilona Andrews, and Nalini Singh books. I plan to get to Maya Banks soonish. Keri Arthur and Shannon Stacey are on the radar, but haven’t tried them yet. Enjoy!
So much library love! I definitely want to know what you think of The Highlander Who Loved Me. And you know I love Maya Bank’s historicals. I still have read the third book in her McCabe Trilogy or Highlander Most Wanted but I will!
Wow you sure cleaned out the place! I see a lot of books that reside on my shelves, so I hope you enjoy them. Especially the Nalini Singh ones, and Jenn Bennett is awesome as well. Do read them in order though.
Such awesome books!!!!
Ohhhh you got some nice ones! Well worth going through the snow ๐
Yay, Magic Breaks! I have been trying to hold out on this and book 8 until the next one releases, but I need my Curran fix. I’ll probably cave over the weekend.
Yes, I’d say quite a few on your list make a trip through snow to the library worth it, Renee! Yay for Kate & Curran. And I listened to Seducing a Highland Lass back in December…my review will post soon. ๐ I adore Banks’ Highlanders series! Nalini Singh, Lara Adrian, and Keri Arthur are also worth the trip. I haven’t read the others but they look good. I’m going to have to brave getting out in the snow myself today…I have some holds at the library read for me! ๐
Whoa! So many great authors. I love Basso but haven’t read that one yet.I’ll have to look it up. Happy reading! (and gah a foot of snow?!)
What a great haul! I liked the Accidental Countess and Bitter Spirits. I’m still behind on the Guild Hunter series so it will be awhile until I get to Archangel’s Blade. And yeah for re-reading the Lorraine Heath series! I love those book especially Jack Dodger!
