Kindle Unlimited Best Books You Need to Read

by | Sep 26, 2022 | Tea and Biscuits Discussions | 4 comments

So today I wanted to do something fun and share the best books that I have read in the Kindle Unlimited program with Amazon. I absolutely adore KU, although I used to not read from it much. But lately I have been reading more indie/self published books. And this year almost half of my books being read have been in the KU subscription. The key to the KU is to read at least 2-3 books a month to make it worth it. There are many great books in the KU subscription, you just need to find what works for you. Below I will be sharing a group of my favorite KU books that I have read.

This is one of my favorite bully romances. It is a DARK romance, and has a non consent scene in it, but its also one of the most complex romances that I have ever read. So if you are a fan of dark romance with faceted layers in the character building, you need to put this one on your list.

This was a marriage of convenience contemporary romance and it was amazing. I couldn’t put this book down and it was a easy five star read. I absolutely adored everything about this one.

There are quite a few Melissa Foster books in the series, but I will say I adored this trilogy. Its set in the same place, it has a more coastal setting, with each book being about a trio of sisters. There is a sense of family, community and captivating love.

I adore these dark UF books that this author has written, you get a mix of vampires and shifters in a world where humans are slaves to otherworldly creatures and its done so well. They are highly addictive, well plotted and the romances are *chef’s kiss*

I am pretty sure pretty much all of this author’s books is on KU, and I have to say most if not all of them have been between 4 and 5 star reads. I know the covers aren’t that impressive, but trust me they are amazing, especially if you love medieval romance or want something different from the regency.

This series is so fantastic, if you like mythological fantasy or demi gods, you definitely need to read these books. The writing style is very easy to get into, and its very charming.

This is one of my favorite books by this author, its more of a romantic thriller than a romantic suspense, but Zanetti did this SO good! I just loved how she developed the romance that was satisfying while leaving it up for more to come between them. And Zanetti knows how to write her thrills.

If you are looking for some fabulous romantic comedy, that has plenty of emotional depth to the relationship, then Meghan Quinn is your ticket. I just adore her books, and this one is one of my favorites. But many of her books are in KU.

I adored this book here, if you love a good bodyguard/royal romance, then this one is a must read for you. I adored this book so much and from what I hear its the best of the series.

If you love mafia, then this is a series that you need to read. These books are so superb and love the various dynamics that we see and these books are also super page turners.

I am pretty sure all of her books are in KU, but this one is my favorite and if you are nervous about her style of slow burns, I think this is the best one out there.

I was nervous about this one, but I can tell you that this one is absolutely amazing. Its a kick ass UF romance with top notch world building and a epic romance.

So tell me what do you think of the books I have shared? Do you love or hate them? What would be your recommendations for books in KU that you love the most? Let me know in the comments below!

Loved Under Locke too! I need to read that Kit Rocha series.

A few of my recommends: Marriage For One by Ella Maise, Healing Montana Sky by Debra Holland, The Mercy Kilpatrick series by Kendra Elliot and so many by Mary Burton. A lot of those are “read and listen for free” too!

I had KU when it first started, and you can get a lot of bang for your buck. Not sure if it’s as great for non-romance readers, but it was fantastic for me. I discovered so many indie authors that way. Quinn is a still a favorite from that time.
