Connor's loved Savannah from the moment he laid eyes on her. She's his mate, no matter what she says.
Savannah's hated the Anderson pack ever since they kidnapped her. That fateful week had big consequences, though, and now she's pregnant with Connor's twins. He's elated. She's...less enthusiastic. She wants the babies but him? Not so much. He's a bossy werewolf who thinks he can dictate what she does. She's a were-cougar who won't be pushed, especially not by a know-it-all wolf alpha.
So why is it every time that she tries to move on, he's right there waiting for her? And why does she compare everyone else to a certain tall, dark wolf? Why does she crave Connor more than pickles and ice cream?

My Review Updated

Summary

Connor has loved Savannah for years but the worst happened—his pack and his family kidnapped her to gain a wolf female they could breed. Connor wasn’t alpha of the pack yet, and did what he could to protect her. But when she went into heat, they shared one night of passion but shortly after Connor kept something from Savannah and she has never forgiven him. Now she is pregnant with twins, and Connor is the father. Savannah has kept out of reach from Connor, needing her space and trying to move on with her life. But Connor is resilient and stubborn and tenacious and won’t give up on her. Connor will do anything to get Savannah back in his life, he has loved her since high school and is determined to show her how true he is and will stand by her…if she lets him into her heart again.

Plot and Story Line

Now I was super excited to read this story and I thought their story would never be written!!! Since it started with the ending of the first book of the series. We see in this story more of Connor and Savannah. But in the previous books, we see on the surface of who Connor really is so it was quite enlightening to get an exclusive view of him inside and out and I loved him even more than I did previously. In fact, despite what Savannah has gone through I had issues with her. Her treatment of Connor didn’t really make much sense to me. Because I felt like she was very bitter at times and lashed out on Connor in some not so nice ways. Yes Connor made a mistake, but it wasn’t an unforgivable one. Eventually though Savannah gets over it, and they get some happy times together. And boy this book rocked, because not only do we get a solid love story—but more shenanigans from the primordials. (shapeshifters from before the ice age) And these men are worse than kids at a candy store. They are attempting to try to become accustomed to everything in the modern world (and they are ancient ones) so even seeing them try out getting an ice cream cone—was hilarious. Gave me barrels of laughs for days just thinking about that scene. Because honestly these men are adorable and cute even if they are a bit outrageous in their alphaness.

The Cover

Definitely HOT!! Look at those abs—-man they did good with this model for sure. Not sure how I feel about the only undies as clothing—different for sure.

Overall View

Alpha Ever After is a simply fantastic love story that takes you through a roller coaster of emotions and some fun moments to keep you smiling. DELIGHTFUL!

Oh boy, this pair do sound like a Romeo and Juliet thing. Glad she finally got over her grudge and gave him a chance.

I giggled so hard at the cover! Haha! 😀 Having the guy be in his undies is definitely different for a book cover. Haha! 😀
Savannah sounds like a rough character at first, but I’m glad you were able to warm up to her eventually.

Oh I have issues when heroines are like that. It’s hard for me to get past it usually. I’m glad she won you over. I do need to try more of her books under this name. (still working on catching up on the Clare ones lol)
