If only she’d yield her heart
Isabel of Camoys is a capable widow with no intention of surrendering her valuable estate. She’s fought long and hard for her independence, and if the price is loneliness, then so be it. She will not yield…even if she does find the powerful knight’s heated embrace impossible to ignore.
But when her land is threatened, Isabel reluctantly agrees to allow Ramon and his army to defend the keep-knowing that the price may very well be her heart.
Why A Sword For The Lady?
This is probably one of my favorite books from Mary Wine. I love the setting, the sexual tension and the drama that plays out. This book is evidence of why I love historical romance so much and why especially I am such a devoted fan to Mary Wine. She brings history to life with her stories and this one was done so well. The details are well balanced to bring the story to life but doesn’t overwhelm the reader.
I don’t think I’ve seen this one before, but it does sound good! And it’s a good cover too and I like how it seems to fit the blurb.
I love how widely-read you are in this genre! Definitely a go-to for readers who want to try Historical Romance. 🙂
I really need to read Mary Wine one of these days. I just love the cover of this one and it sounds like a great story.
Adding to my list, love that cover too!!
Hers always look so good! I have one on my list, I think. Lovely cover, too!
Hey, this was my first book by her and I loved it. I need to get back and finish this series.
oh man her covers are so gorgeous! I think I won one of her books
I do love sexual tension haha. I really must try Mary Wine. Glad this was a good read!
I agree with everyone that this is a beautiful book cover. 🙂 I’ve read Mary Wine’s work before but somehow skipped this one. I’ll be adding it on to my TBR!
