Why Serpent?
If you love historical romance…especially medieval era historical romance, then this book is for you!! This might be one of my favorite books by Kathryn Le Veque. She is an author I have started reading this year and her books are FANTASTIC. The Serpent, features the daughter of the infamous William de Wolfe. He is the hero of book 2 in the series. And she has learned alongside her brothers to fight like a knight ,she is crafty and stubborn just like her brothers and father. But the king wants her to marry the leader of Wales to help keep the pace before war breaks out. But before Penelope knows it she is fighting in a battle against her own family and boy this BOOK is so so good. I love the dyanmics between this pairing, the fun family antics and its so endearing and fun. I can’t recommend this book enough.
