The accident prone dog also has a strength within her that will be needed to help stave off the now homeless Nuka Lincoln's attempts at revenge. Will she regret taking this job?
Tyler Quinn has been a fighter for the pack since he was eighteen. He is mysterious, and nobody knows that much about why he joined them. All they do know is that he is a fantastic cook and a bit of a computer geek. Behind the man he portrays is a secret that threatens to send him on a path that he thought he had left behind. Will the white powder be his downfall?

Today I am thrilled to share with you the fun stuff about this stunning shifter romance Fallen For Shame by Anna Edwards
I was thrilled when I was asked to read this book and give an honest review. I always get a kick out of shifter love and this book was unique and fun. Although I do wish I had had the opportunity to read the first two books first, just due to certain circumstances surrounding this pack and the villain that is trying to destroy their alpha and his own brother.
Our key players in this delicious tale are:
- Teagan Holland, is our lovely heroine, who is clumsy and quirky, she is an Asiatic wild dog and has been looking for her “place” and a pack she can call home and that will accept her for who she is.
- Tyler Quinn, is haunted by dreams of the past, a drug addiction, a bit nerdy with his love of computers but is kind and protective.
I truly enjoyed seeing this pair come together. As much as I love shifter romance, sometimes the whole alpha pairings can get a bit old at times. So I was so thrilled when this book was SO Not the case. This is more of a beta pair, two people that have quite unique personalities. They really fit so well together. Both of them are struggling emotionally on different levels. I truly adored the hero though, seeing him work through his past, an enemy that is using his weakness in the past for drugs, and his quiet yet strong character that continues to shine through. I love how much of a fighter he is. Now our heroine was so FUN!! I just loved her so much. I felt like I could relate to her so much. She is always falling on her feet, being clumsy but has a fun character. She definitely made the book so light and carefree at times.
We become introduced to the other members of this diverse pack with lions, witches and bears…oh my!!! Yep they were fun and so quirky. You can definitely tell how different they all are but quite endearing in many ways. I just wanted to grab up the previous books to get the low down on these characters that made me smile.
Now the cons to the story….there aren’t many, but enough that kept me from rating this book higher. Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed this book, it’s a story you can relax into. First off, I wish the ARC I had been sent, was one where I could have changed the text. It wasn’t your normal font you normally see and it really kept me from really enjoying the book fully because it was so distracting. And the romance between Teagan and Tyler fell a bit flat for me. I love a strong focus on the romance of the story, and I just didn’t connect with them as much as I wanted to or was expecting to.
Now that being said, I want to say that this book is a quick and fast read, its shorter than most novels, so that could be a factor to is that at times it did have a feeling of being a bit “too rushed” however there are so many positive qualities to the story that pulls at the readers attention. I really became sucked into this world of diverse shifters, unique politics and a villain that was downright demented and I want to see him get his “end”
Overall I found Fallen For Shame a stunning and heart-stopping tale…..a story that takes you through the woods of Montana, a unique take on shape shifters and one you don’t want to miss out on!!
Never heard about this author before. I do like a good shifter story.
I didn’t know about it but it looks quite good there!
Oh I love when the romance is the main focus as well, Renee. I do get it why you were bothered by it. Anyway, the author is new to me but i’ll check out her books. Thanks for sharing. Awesome review. ?❤️??
Nice review! I love shifter romances and this sounds so unique with the beta characters and all the different types of shifters. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one!
Thanks hun. I really adored seeing beta characters in this book and I have a feeling most of the series is like that too.
Is the blog different again? Or does it takes weeks for my brain to adjust, lol
I changed the theme a few months ago but other than that no. I did change my landing page to offer more content to my readers. I wanted a more feminine feel to the site.
Ooh, I haven’t read a shifter romance in quite a while, and this sound pretty good. Sorry the romance was a little flat for you though, but at least you were still able to the book overall.
Yes this one was very good…short and sweet!!
I love shifter romance. Its like my kryptonite!
Fun and playful and not alpha would attract me to this one. Neat that she’s not the usual wolf shifter, too.
