Blogging New and LifeΒ
Wow,,,, where did the month of May go!! It has flown by like crazy and I still can’t believe its almost June! Well the month of May was a pretty fantastic month. In my personal life, my brother got home from a religious mission and was gone for 2 years!! Man I have missed that boy so much, and he is grown like a foot and is so mature now, I almost didn’t recognize him. My sister got married to a wonderful guy, and I am so happy for her. I traded in my Nook for a Kindle paperwhite. This is my first kindle to own!! And wow its different but I am loving it way more than any of the Nook readers I ever had. And I even had money left over from selling my Nook to buy quite a few book goodies. I did have a hard time debating which kindle to get…since there are four models now. However from my research, the paperwhite felt like the best deal. The voyage seemed nice and so did the oasis, but since many of the features are very similar…the prices for the others didn’t seem worth it. What I am loving is having an e readerΒ I can read anywhere especially in the sunlight. It is taking some getting used to reading off an e inkΒ style though but wow I am breezing through books like crazy. It makes such a different not reading on a tablet. So yeah this month has been pretty great. And I have been reading some fabulous reads this month.

Oh how fun to have good family events! Glad your brother is back safe and sound and your sister is happily married.
Yes, do enjoy that Kindle. π Neat that its an all-around hit.
Looks like you’re right on track to finish up your challenges now that you’re finished with some and others can get the focus.
Oh, I see several books I added after reading your reviews. π They did seem good so I’m not surprised they are standouts for you.
oh yes we were all relieved when my brother came out. His area had quite a bit of gang activity and some of his stories really freaked me out. But yeah great to have him home and safe. Yes I am endeavoring to focus on those challenges I need to work on now since I am making good progress with the others.
You had a wonderful month. Some many good books reviewed. I’m so happy for your sister and I’m glad you brother is home safe and sound.
What a great month for you, you did amazing on reviews!! I love my kindle so glad to hear you are loving yours, too!!
My May Recap!
I am soo jealous that you have a Kindle Paperwhite. i really want one. Actually, I really want the voyage, but I’d love a paperwhite, too. I love Stay with Me so much! That’s my favorite in the series, I think.
haha!!! Yeah I wanted to Voyage too, but the paperwhite is more affordable and there are only small difference between the two and didn’t seem worth the extra money for it. Stay With Me is a pretty fun book!!
Yay for the happy family moments and you getting a kindle π I love mine way more than my old Nook π
I forgot to tell you, I’m reading another historical romance because of you right now lolol <3333
oh yes the kindle is way better than the Nook. I had two different kinds and wasn’t a huge fan of either and especially with the changes B&N are making with their digital products, I felt it was time to switch over since I have been wanting to for a couple of years now. And Yippee for reading some historical romance. Hope its a great read for ya!!
Yes where on earth did May go
Looks like a great month!! I love my kindle paper white too. Glad you love yours as well!!
It sounds like you had a great month with your brother coming back from his mission and your sister getting married. Yay for getting a new e-reader! It sounds like a good one. I have a kobo e-reader and I love the e-Ink screen, I also read on my ipad, but can only do that during the day or for short amounts of time. If I ever need to get another e-reader it will definitely be another e-ink screen, it reads almost like a real book. I hope June is a good month for you!
oh yes…a great family month for sure!!! e ink screens are just fantastic right?? I just love how much its like reading a print book and its so easy on the eyes.
You had a awesome month. I have the Kindle Fire, but have been seriously debating an e-ink for outside. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks!! I have heard the Kindle Fire’s are great. But there is something different with E Ink so I would recommend it.
Hangs head in shame…May was awful for me. I hope I can get back into the groove for June.
At first I had a problem with the size of the Paperwhite compared to my tablet but now I LOVE it! It’s so light and easy on the eyes.

That sounds like a wonderful month! How exciting on the family front π And yay for Kill or Be Kilt. That was so fun!
