At A Glance: Month of March

Blogging News and Life

This past month was such a fun and successful month. As for the blog, I made some changes. For the past year or so, I have been debating on the style of design I wanted to do ever since I self-hosted via WordPress. When I first started I had no idea about design AT ALL!! I was completely clueless and have been learning a ton this past year. But I finally found the style of design I wanted—something fresh yet a still good romantic feel to it. This is going to be the permanent design for this blog and I am loving it so much. Reading hasn’t been too bad this month…a bit better than Feb. I have found some new authors to love, I have also been working on my goodreads shelves—probably is going to take a year hehe but a little every day goes a long way.

As for my personal life, well it was my birthday month. I am now 29—-EEK I do not feel 29…I still feel 21. I don’t look 29 at all, THANK GOODNESS!! But still, I can’t believe how time flies. But I also got to share my birthday with this little guy. Isn’t he adorable?? Gives me hope I will have cute kids hehe. Also I got a big raise at work. Which is the best news I could have ever received, as I was thinking about getting a second job and now I don’t have to!!! Yeah I did a bit of celebrating at ULTA. But now I can just save a bit more than I had even planned, which is great. Still working on my studies and still planning on the move to TEXAS. Which the closer it gets, the more excited I am. I am so read for a change and some adventure.

  1. Happy birthday! I didn’t realize March was your birthday month! 29 is a weird age to turn isn’t it? I’m 32 now and it shocks me when I think about it. Actually, I’m nearly 33, and that is scary.

I’m glad you got a raise! When are you planning on movie to Texas?

    1. Yep!! Love March though. It finally starts to get warm and we get rain instead of snow. It is a weird age, not sure what I think of it yet. I am planning on moving in September and I can’t wait.

  2. Happy birthday! How I wish I was 29 again. Congratulations on getting a raise at work. A second job would have cut into your reading time 🙂 I do love the new design of your blog and agree that it has a very romantic feel to it. I am very impressed by the number of reviews that you are able to post every month. Have a great April!

  3. Happy Birthday! I’m happy that you were able to get a raise at work as it is always so nice when our employers see the efforts that we are putting into what we do each and everyday while at the office or wherever. I love the blog design I think it is so lovely and beautifully designed. I hope this month continues to be good to you! 🙂

  4. I love your new design, it’s very romantic and warm with the pinkish red colour and it fits the feel of your blog. I switched my design only once so far. Also when I switched to self hosted wordpress, and so far haven’t changed it besides a few minor tweaks. I am glad to hear this was such a good month for you :).
And happy birthday! I hope you had a fun birthday. And that’s great news about the raise! Congrats! I hope April will be a great month for you too!
