Outrageous:Judd Sanders couldn’t believe it when the beautiful, wide-eyed woman he rescued from some drunk hoodlums started poking her gorgeous little nose into his business. She was obviously a menace to herself – not to mention to his libido. Worse, she’d blow his cover. For little did Emily Cooper know that Judd was really a cop – whose cover left him a little too “uncovered” for his liking.
Impetuous:Grade school teacher Carlie McDaniels trades in her frumpiness for the look of an exotic harem girl, at least for one costume party. So long, spinsterhood—and hello tall, dark and handsome Tyler Ramsey….
Even after the best night of their lives, Tyler hasn’t guessed the identity of his harem hottie…and Carlie plans on keeping him in the dark. After all, a gorgeous guy like Tyler would never fall for his smart-talking best friend. And Carlie’s not sure she wants to know what would happen if he ever unveiled the naked truth!

Outrageous:
Judd Sanders is undercover, trying to bring down a crime boss, that killed the one man he considered family, and now he wants justice. Posing as a male stripper, he sees a woman that is not his usual clientele. A woman of grace, poise and elegance and money. Emily Cooper is looking for justice, her brother was injured by the same crime boss, and she will do anything to bring justice to this man of crime. When she meets Judd Sanders, she feels a excitement that is new and fresh, and can’t deny the attraction she feels for him. But when she learns of his true identity, and that she may have almost blown his cover, they start to work together, and with their combined desire for each that almost consumes them, but will Judd and Emily be able to have a future together despite their differing backgrounds?

So Charade is a dual combination of two marvelous stories: Outrageous and Impetuous. I will say that having never read Lori Foster before, I was excitement. So many stellar reviews and ratings of her books, so I was pretty excited to delve into Charade and OH BOY did I adore this book!! In Outrageous, I would put this one under romantic suspense. The story begins when Judd and Emily meet on the street and sparks fly instantly, and they can’t deny the attraction they have for each other. At first Judd can’t risk having feelings for Emily, he has a job to do, a job that if he isn’t careful could get them both killed. But when he learns what Emily is really after, he decides they can work together, that she can only aid in his cover. But Emily isn’t just any woman. Despite her appearance of wealth and elegance, she is the most honorable woman he has ever met, and she strikes a chord within him, that brings out his inner passions and breaks away the ice in his heart. Outrageous was such a stimulating story, and I couldn’t get enough of it. Both characters were heartwarming and full of zest and tended to just keep you at the edge. Whether from the suspense from the plot, or wondering when these two will actually admit what they feel to each other. A masterful written story of danger, desire and a moving love story.

Impetuous
Carlie McDaniels is a schoolteacher, and when her best friend coerces her to trade her frumpy outfits for a harem girl costume, she almost think she has lost her mind. But on that night of the masquerade party, the one man she has had a crush on for years, comes looking for her, attraction is mutual and they share one special sensual night, but Carlie knows that Tyler would never look twice at her in her normal attire. Tyler is a lawyer, and successful, but when he meets Carlie, he at first finds her cold and aloof, but he soon discovers that there is alot more to Carlie than meets the eye. They strike up a friendship of sorts, a friendship that turns into something more. But will Carlie have the courage to tell Tyler the truth about the truth behind the mask? or will she lose him forever.

Impetuous was a story that just sung to me. I don’t even know why, because Carlie isn’t your usual heroine, and at first I couldn’t understand her judgement of Tyler. But as you get deeper in the story, you see that Carlie has been hurt and she has major trust issues and doesn’t think Tyler could ever love her as herself. In this story we see two people that need each other. I loved seeing them turn into friends first and then lovers. It was a slow and steady romance, but they definitely know how to light up some fireworks in this one. And when the truth comes out…well watch out readers, it just might shock you!! Impetuous is a story of plot twists and just keeps you guessing with each chapter, high sexual tension, and pure romance fun!!! SIZZLES AND TOP NOTCH!!
