Tea and Biscuits: Top Grabs For Autumn

Can you believe that the summer only has a month left….CRAZY and wow has this summer just flown by like crazy. However, as we soon leave the summer, so do we delve into the fall and there are SO many fabulous releases. And this list below is a SHORT list…yes I know there are way more than ten listed here hehe however it was so hard to narrow down a list of the top picks.

The Sea King by C.L. Wilson–I was lucky enough to receive a ARC of this book and I will just say that it was beyond amazing. I want to re read it so bad now.

I actually don’t think I have read this author, but I have heard some great things. And I will admit this cover alone is fantastic and I can’t wait to read it.

I have adored Karen Ranney for many years, so I just can’t resist on this one. She always proves to be a author that delivers a solid romance, and since I just read book one and am currently reading book two—I just know that this book will be fabulous.

Katee Robert has done a fantastic job with this one, and I have adored seeing this series grow and I adore the O Malley family, even when they are too stubborn and interferring hehe But that is family right? Honestly, I think this author has done amazing with this mob boss family, especially with all the dynamics that have come into play.

I have always been a big fan of Olivia Drake and I have had so much fun with her fairy tale retellings. I know that not everyone has enjoyed them, but seriously this author I just can’t put down. Her writing pulls me in and its a book that I can’t wait to have my hands on. And what a sexy cover we have here. The blue dress is so pretty.

I haven’t had an opportunity to read this author in many years, she has written some classic romances, and I am so pleased to see her writing again. And what a classy and gorgeous cover we have here. Its definitely a book I want to have on my bookshelf. I always have fun seeing an American Heroine adapt to life among the Ton.

THIS COVER….I swear it is just gorgeous, I love the yellow blooms with the sunlight shining down. Its so picturesque. And Mary Balogh is always a great author to read anytime.

I adore Gena Showalter, and surprsingly she has done a superb job with writing a contemporary romance series when she almost always has done paranormal themes for her books.

Kerrigan Byrne has become one of my top favorites when it comes to historical romance. She writes rich and in depth romances, and I love the emotion she puts in her stories. She does touch base with more darker and serious issues, but I really admire that.

This MC romance series has been amazing to read and I swear these are the best books I have read by this author. They just totally work for me, of course I adore MC romance books, and I like the style that Kaye has taken on this theme.

Cora Carmack writes the best New Adult romances, and I am so excited to see her continuing the series.

Karen Hawkins is one of those authors, that will always be a auto read for me. She has worked for me for so many years and she still does!! And I do love those sexy Scots.

The Last Outlaw is the finally installment of the Outlaw Hearts series, and what a great ending to this epic love story with my all time favorite couple Jake and Miranda and their lovely family. This is a must read for all romance lovers!!

  • Ann Lorz

So many good ones. I love Showalter and agree she’s done a good job at doing contemporaries. I also love Hawkins. Her books crack me up!

    • oh yes there are so many fabulous ones here. Showalter is simply awesome. I have been really impressed with this Hearbreaker series. And isn’t Hawkins amazing? Her books are so witty and fun yet she still makes them solid historically authentic too. I love that. She just haven’t lost her touch after all these years.

    • oh yes…they are so lovely right? I never can resist a pretty romance cover.

And yes Showalter has done a great job with this series, I can hardly wait to pick up Can’t Let Go either. Thanks for stopping by darling.

  • Carol Cork

Renee, the Mary Balogh and KErrigan Byrne books are ones I definitely want to read.

    • oh Yes Carol!!! I can’t wait for those either. And hasn’t the publisher for Balogh’s books done a great job with the covers? They are so gorgeous.

      • Carol Cork

These days, I do prefer those elegant covers to all the ones with shirtless men or ladies with their gowns half hanging off and they never seem to be wearing any underclothes!

  • I am super excited for All Closed Off and Wild Ride!! I have never read a Gina Showalter book though…Maybe I should look into her books.

    • Oh I can’t wait Samantha!! All Closed Off and Wild Ride, I wish I had them on my kindle NOW hehe

You definitely need to pick up Gena Showalter. She is amazing, she writes both contemporary and paranormal and some urban fantasy too. She is right up your alley.

  • I just love reading romance novels in the fall. I don’t know what it is. 🙂 These all sound great!

    Happy reading!

    • Fall romances are simply the best right? Its the whole season, I swear more weddings happen in fall than any other season. I tend to go to way more during that time than even the spring. Its just a festive and family fun season. So of course romance is a part of that.

  • So many great books coming up! I can’t wait to get to The Last Outlaw and The Sea King!

    • oh yes….so many to be excited for. I just know that you will LOVE The Last Outlaw, especially seeing how much you enjoyed Outlaw Hearts. Jake and Miranda are one of my favorite couples to read. Probably because their relationship is so REAL.

The Sea King is AMAZING darling, I just know you will love it.

  • Fall usually seems to be a popular time for new releases. You got some great ones lined up here. And so many pretty covers too. The Sea King sounds really good, glad to hear you enjoyed it. I’ve fallen behind on Cora Carmack’s books, but the ones I read by her were good.

    • It is a fabulous season for new releases. I swear the best books come out in the fall. I think you would love the Sea King, since you like fantasy.

  • I’ve got three of those in my own reading stack. I really need to start the Katee Robert and Cora Carmack series at some point. The Sea King looks great.

    • You would LOVE Katee Roberts and The Sea King is just fabulous.

  • Michele H

That’s quite a lovely list! Looking forward to Mary Balogh, Laura Kaye, Rosanne Bittner, Gena Showalter…and of course C.L. Wilson. My other picks are Archangel’s Viper by Nalini Singh, Sugar Pine Trail by RaeAnne Thayne, and Sweet Tea and Sympathy by Molly Harper. It’s gonna be a good autumn!
