Library Loot (71)

Devil's Prize

I grabbed this one up for the cover and then later looked at the blurb hehe But I will admit I do enjoy reading this author. So I am excited to try this one out.

A Wallflower Christmas

This is a must read for me every Christmas time….Kleypas is a personal favorite but I love this book because we get to see more of these four women and the men they fell in love with. We have a additional love story, and we see the relationships that each of these four women have with their husbands and that just because you have your HEA….doesn’t mean your life isn’t full of misunderstandings and trial.

Magic In His Kiss

I grabbed this last month, but I fell into my reading slump, so I wasn’t able to read it. But I love this author, and I can’t wait to read Nicole’s story. Out of the three sisters she is the most fun and easy going.

Riptide

After reading the first book and loving it….I was hungering for some more under water adventures!! So bring it on Cutters!!

Captive Moon

This is another book I had to let go, last month as well. So I can’t wait to continue this fun PNR series.

The Highlander's Stolen Bride 2

This book was picked up, because I saw it and wanted to read it. I love those sexy highlander romances!!! Gimme more Scots in kilts and a sexy brogue.

Hot Blooded

I can’t say enough how much I love Donna Grant and I fcel like she is one of those underrated authors…which is so sad because she is dang good. And I love this Dark King Series….I can’t get enough of were dragons, and Grant writes them so well.

Tough Love

I just had to grab this one up and I can’t wait to delve into this one!! I love this series and this author…she is simply wonderful. So bring on the tough men and the smart heroines.

Ashes of Midnight

I am working on continuing this series, and even though I am not a HUGE fan of angst all the time….I have loved every one of Adrian’s books so I have faith that I will adore this book as much as the others.

  • Kat Martin book looks good, okay, they all look good!

    • haha they do huh? I always have a hard time controlling myself there….of not getting more than what is on my required number.

  • Oh man, you’re making me want to go to the library šŸ˜€

    • hehe….then my job here is done!!! *making bows* There is nothing better than a visit to the library.

  • Carol Cork

I love A Wallflower Christmas just for the pleasure of revisiting all the wonderful characters from this series.

    • I know right? But after reading it now….I want to re read the whole series.

      • Carol Cork

Renee, I used to love re-reading my all-time favourites like The Wallflowers but now I don’t seem to find the time as I have so many books on my TBR pile that I really want to read. Although I enjoy running my blog, it does seem to take up precious time that I could be doing more reading!

        • Loverofromance

Its very true right? Next year, I am planning on a few series to re read throughout the year. And The Wallflowers is on my list as well as the Scoundrels of St. James series. Even though I have tons of books I want to read….I also miss re reading too. But I admit running a blog can be time consumming….good thing I love it so much hehe

  • Nice haul of ‘loot’. I just hit the library today and walked away with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies because yes, I have to see that movie and wanted to read the book first. šŸ˜‰ Crazy I know, but there it is.

    • Hope you enjoy it!! I am not a zombie nut….so I haven’t gotten into the crazy yet. But I am sure it will eventually happen hehe

      • I think it is the utter curiosity of combining Jane Austen with zombies. I just have to see it for myself. haha!

  • I would have picked several of those for the cover alone and mama, I understand you about the Devil’s prize cover ! I just moved Donna Grant up my to-read list again šŸ˜‰

    • yay!!! Donna Grant is simply fabulous….every one of her books have been awesome. So you would enjoy her.

  • Oh so many pretty reads! I have a couple on my tbr pile. I’m heading to the library today to snag a book šŸ™‚

    • The library is awesome right?? It will be a sad day when I move because I love the selection I have.

  • I would grab devil prize for the cover alone too.

  • I love A Wallflower Christmas! I haven’t read it in a few years so I think I need to dig it out again. And yeah for more Lara Adrian!

    • oh I love it…but now I want to re read the whole series. And yeah Lara Adrian rocks right?

  • I love Foster too, so glad you are reading the series.

    • Me to!! hehe I love the whole mma fighter trope….it always makes for a fabulous romance.

  • Oh nice loot! A wallflower christmas looks good and I like how they wear dresses in christmas colours on the cover. I heard good things about Lori Foster, but haven’t read any of her books myself.

    • It is fantastic…you can never go wrong with Lisa Kleypas. And Lori Foster is so entertaining.

  • Ann Lorz

So many good one. I love Melanie George. I really wish she still wrote!

    • Good to hear she is good!! This will be my first time trying her out.

  • These look good. Ha – and there’s nothing wrong with being snagged by the cover without reading the blurb. šŸ˜€

  • Karen

I’ve heard so many things about the Wallflower series & I’ve always enjoyed Kelypas.

    Karen @For What It’s Worth

  • Awww, I want A Wallflower Christmas!!! That sounds fun.

  • Oh, all the hotness, Renee šŸ™‚ I hope you’ll enjoy all these! I love Lori Foster’s series, and can’t wait to see what you think of Tough Love šŸ™‚
