MY REVIEW
Summary:
Kara MacAllister grew up in a small town, close to her mother, she is a school teacher, but then her mother is dying from cancer, and needs to stay as close to her as possible.  Then her life is disrupted when a stranger enters their home, and claims that she is the chosen and must come with him. With her life upside down, she knows she has no choice but to go with him since her life is in danger by creatures she has never seen or heard of before. Lyon knows that Kara is their only hope for their people. Lyon shared a strong connection to Kara, one he has never before experienced with a woman, and knows that because she is the Chosen, that she is offlimits, especially since it appears she isn’t his mate, but he craves her like never before….

The Hero
Lyon is part of the Feral Warriors, the leader of them, and his animal is the Lion. Lyon craves letting his animal out but anable to since their most recent chosen one was killed. Now he has found Kara, who is the key to saving their people. Lyon is a powerful warrior, part of a elite force of hunters who can shift at will, but as yet to find the one woman to complete him…until Kara

The Heroine
Kara, knows that she is very different, even though her mother has tried to isolate her even from the truth. Kara, knowing who she is is shocked and with her world topsy turvy, she doesn’t know where to turn, especially with those that are strangers to her, and their ways foreign. However her attraction to Lyon is powerful and wants to be with him…no matter what she has to face.

My Thoughts
Desire Untamed is the first of the Feral Warriors Series. This is the first that I have read from this author, and I am so glad I finally did…This was a astounding read, it was such a whirlwind that I found I was swept away in the magical world that Pamela Palmer has created. I just fell on love with Kara and Lyon, such riveting characters. There was such a likable quality about them, that I couldn’t help but smile throughout the whole of the book….the plot was thrilling and full of intensity….A Hot Read!!!!

My Favorite Quote
Mine, his beast roared as he claimed her mouth, his senses exploding.  Just as quickly she began to kiss him back as she seemed to recognize who held her. His beast gentled, his kiss turning hot and needy, recognizing the creature beneath him as his mate, not prey.
